Cat Faeries™ is the voice for our beloved domestic cats, and a channel for the spirit of cats. We are here to help humans understand their feline house companions in the event that their cat suddenly stops using the litter box. Cat Faeries has done the research, sought out or created the products, and have formulated the advice so that we can help you stop it, and so that you can restore peace and tranquility to your home. Keeping cats in their loving homes is our life's work. We take the responsibility in being of service to the animal kingdom very seriously.

It all began in the Fall of 1993 when our founder was the contributing editor of Tiger Tribe magazine, the first magazine devoted to natural and wholistic care for cats. We wanted readers to have flower essences and other good and healthful things for their cats which met our very fussy finicky standards. Cat Faeries first paper catalog was "written" by the lovely feline diva Betty, and it paved the way for even more good things to come!

In January 1995 we launched Cat Faeries first website. We loved the new paperless technology. We loved that we could reach the hearts of millions of people. In the years we've been online we have met and helped millions of wonderful cats, and their devoted humans. We have heard from beautiful people who've told us wonderful stories which make us cry tears of joy. And don't you know, that we purr with delight because we've saved oodles of trees by not sending out paper catalogs!

When Feliway came out in 1997 we knew that this product would set a new course for Cat Faeries. We looked into how prevalent the problem of cats who spray or who urinate outside of their litter boxes was. Shocking! The number one reason why cats are dumped at shelters or euthanized is because of these two problems. We had to do something! We had to become completely proactive! So, we consulted with the producers of Feliway, we worked with feline experts at the universities all over the world, and thus, became experts ourselves. We have thoroughly studied cats, and we have thoroughly studied Feliway.

When we brought in Feliway to our lives back in 1997 we have been completely committed to helping you save the life of your cat, as well as other cats in your community. As a Cat Faeries customer you will learn why it happens, how to correct it, and how to incorporate or maintain Cat Faeries healthful green ideals at the same time. And we hope you'll tell others so that even more cats can be loved and flourish in loving homes!

We had been already been working with flower essences since 1980 and loved how beautifully they solve problems and correct imbalances. So the next step for us was to create formulas which would boost the effectiveness of Feliway. We created these sacred formulas using alchemical divination, so that the formulas would be perfect and would address the emotional reasons cats are fighting, spraying, being overly territorial, or any other form unhappiness. By 1998 we completed our flower essence formulas and immediately they became tools for success among our customers. Our flower essences for cats are wildly popular with not only our customers, but with veterinarians, shelter directors and volunteers, other advocates for cats. This thrills us.

Our intention is two fold - we are committed to getting cats to return to their litter boxes, while at the same time we are here to enlighten people everywhere about the feline beings who love them, and also how to care for our precious planet and all its inhabitants.

We are proud to say that we are card carrying members of many environmental and humanitarian groups. We are staunch supporters of the movement to live slow. Have you heard the expression "locavore"? Locavores are people who try very hard to eat and shop for goods produced within 100 miles of their residence. Its not always possible or easy, but at least 50% of what we personally consume is local. Our cats dine on grass fed meats raised humanely by people who we know by name. We are foes of globalization and have never set foot inside of big box stores like WalMart. We do not shop at or support chain stores.

We love your letters of praise because you agree with our stand that we will never carry or endorse mass made junk made in China by slave, child, or low paid labor. We loathe any sort of outsourcing because it always seems to condone horrific labor, safety, and environmental practices. And it takes jobs away from you! How anyone can shop WalMart and other chain stores when there are other shopping choices available is beyond our comprehension.
